Fire on the 2nd floor and attic of a 2 1/2 story 20x40 PD.

0526 - E-283 - 10-75. Fire out the 2nd floor windows.

“On arrival, there was heavy fire on the second floor extending to the third floor. There was a fatality found on the top floor. We also had someone exit the second floor via the tower ladder. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. This fire went to a 3rd alarm, bringing approximately 33 FDNY units and 138 FDNY members to the scene,” said FDNY Deputy Chief Jim Carney, from the scene of this morning’s 3-alarm fire at 759 Howard Avenue in Brooklyn.
