Thanks all for the rundowns, updates and photos.

Question, was this considered a 10-60 code 1? because a normal 10-60 usually consists of 5 engine companies and according to the rundown 8 engine companies were on the 10-60-2nd alarm assignment.

Or was it due to the 10-60 being transmitted after the 2nd alarm request and prompted the response of 4 additional engines?

B3 gave 2-2 alarm, couple of minutes after that alarm, B26 gave the 10-60

2nd Alarm Brings 4 then the 10-60 came in and brought 5

The scanner feeds I was using kept shutting off so I might of missed some things

I don’t think 94 engine was assigned till the 2nd alarm. It seems like they were tied up on a highway box on the bruckner and you can still hear them responding in a few minutes after the 2nd was given saying they just got off the highway.

Yeah, when I heard them call in to report they could see smoke from the highway I assumed at first they were responding to the box, but when the dispatcher relayed it to the chief, he told him it was from "94, they're operating on the Bruckner."

I guess that explains why L48 was not listed as the FAST...i thought it might have been a typo. But still, L38 as FAST? Is that correct? Many many other truck co's closer.

A very minor point considering this event and the good work by all FFs on the scene and those reporting it on this forum.
