That happened to me one night in the winter at 5 AM. The Ladder lock wouldn't release, so aerial wouldn't retract. It took me a few minutes to figure out there was too much slack in the cable to release the locks. I then pulled the slack out manually and released the locks and was able to solve our dilemma. I figured waiting for the shops to respond, it would again have us watching the sun rise not actually fighting a fire.
