Fire Location: 49 St Nicholas Terrace

Fire on the 4th floor of a 6 story NFP MD

MD to B-16 APT 61 on the 6th floor reporting fire on the 4th floor

MD to B-16 2 calls on it

L-40 gave the 10-75

B-16 Searching for the fire at this time

L-28 Fast

B-16 turn around all units not on scene its just an investigation.

MD to B-16 you want to cancel the 10-75?

Got there with 37 & 40. It was a strip of lights in the window that very convincingly looked like fire. Had the line up on the floor ready to go lol.

Strangest thing about it all was the fact that manhattan got two legitimate calls reporting fire.

How many calls does it take till they announce "loading up the box"?

The box gets loaded off 1 call for people trapped. Usually it depends on the quantity and quality of calls and is ultimately at the discretion of the dispatch team. You can have 13 calls for a compactor fire & not load the box because the dispatchers can deduce that it’s a compactor. On the flip side you could have 3 calls reporting fire out the windows and have the box loaded.
 
Question: Did L4 actually relocate to L30. It seems a long way to go if the 10-75 was canceled
 
They were relocated right away (Believe they weren't AQ) how far they made it up. No idea
