Those were always fun buildings to catch work in! Nothing like a good tenement job!

And if I recall correctly, those buildings over there run across all the way to Allen street. The entrance to the apartments above the commercial parts are around the block. Those tickets used to have “AKA so and so Allen Street” on it. Would have to respond accordingly

Two team…nice memory on those buildings. OV nightmare unless you’d been there before and paid attention. Speaking of which, sitting here remembering having many jobs over there…but quite sure we (11)… weren’t third due…no FAST truck back then. Then realized that 405…Allen and Stanton…was often transmitted for those same buildings. 28/11 first due. What a difference a block makes. Stay safe.

No first hand knowledge of these buildings but was just looking at Google Maps and the address 156 Stanton is opposite side of street from the buildings you’d have to access upper floors off Allen Street, but 156 Stanton looks to have possibly rear tenements behind it in between Stanton Street and Ludlow
