"Strike the box".. haven't heard that in awhile. Lol. Years ago used to be a chief in the 4-4 that would say it.

I've heard "Strike the Box" from L41 a few times in Irvington. I've also heard "Tell South Essex to turnout. We got a fire." And just "Transmit the Box"

A 15 story SRO? Just thinking about the number of hotplates involved boggles the mind. And can you imagine what must come through the front door every day?
