Down the block from the AH job about an hour or so ago. Houses are not attached so this is entirely a separate incident. Some heavy fire at this one. E151/TL76 normally first due probably not available from the other AH yet. This box is one of the southern-most on the island, where SQ8 gets in faster than R5. Although they probably didn?t get far since the first job by the time this cooker came in.

Pics also from citizen:

I thought 151/76 were must fill companies, odd that no relocated companies were on ticket for 2 job in their first due area. Long wait times for engine companies to get down to the end of the island. Seems like they relocated units to at least 151 for this fire as per rundowns

Be interesting to see what the causes of these fires were .... someone posted about a power surge in the area previous to this.

Makes me feel real comforted as an SI home owner that we have a fragile power grid.

At the time of the first job, another box was out  at 17 Page Avenue where a power outage was reported as well and an electrical issue at Craig and Amboy (but that may have been wind-related)

MAC there might have been relocators

But Staten Island comes in the worse out of all of them so i barely heard anything

Yet Engine 154 was not a "must fill".
I guess they're trying to make up for the loss of an engine company by putting an engine in Squad 8's quarters whenever they're committed at an operation.

Yes, interesting. Wonder if these 2 jobs and the power outages on Page Avenue are somehow connected. They?re not too far from each other.

Update: the power outage on nearby Page Avenue caused an electrical cord in this house to short circuit thus causing the fire. From SILIVE.COM.

E151 coulda had multiple relocators last night, E202 is listed above acting 151. I also heard E246 acting 151 during the 2nd alarm and saw E220 responding in their response area yesterday evening (possibly after the first AH)

Pic is from NYCFIREBUFF on Instagram. Pic of BC23 at the first job (AH) about an hour or two before this 2nd alarm. The house that burned in this 2nd alarm is pictured in the back of the photo. How crazy. Sad to see what it was just 2 hours before, and what it turned into alittle while later.
