Did Richmond Engine Co. 1 get this box? They look like the closest company.

Good question about Richmond Engine 1, not sure. This box as the map above shows is in the middle of the island and those firehouses.

Did I read somewhere that Squad 8 only has 1st and 2nd due boxes unlike the other Squads who go up to 3rd due? Could be making that up. Also, all three trucks on the box are TL
