When did Roosevelt Island boxes become a Queens incident? First one I've heard. It obviously makes sense with all the units coming from Queens and all the less radio traffic with switching over to Manhattan. Is box 945 just a generic run card for the whole island?

They changed the operating frequency over to queens a few weeks ago. Tix and voice alarm still come from Manhattan though due to wiring issues. And no to the question on box numbers. There are separate boxes through the island for different locations. The firehouse is box 1922, which may now be 0922. I’ll check for you guys.

Anyone relocate into LIC/ASTORIA/STEINWAY. Talk about resources literally on a thin island with one way in , one way out.

If I remember correctly the high rise residential buildings were built under federal building codes and contain duplexes and triplexes
