ANY building under construction or demolition MUST be considered Dangerous. The "Inherent Compartmentation" that exists in a legally occupied building, including walls, floors and doors often are not present in buildings under construction or demolition, or vacant buildings for that matter.
The covered walls and ceilings, protect the structural members from the fire and doors and complete floors reduce fire spread. Does anyone know if this was a wood, Truss Roof? Residential Wood truss roofs can collapse in under 5 minutes from fire below especially when no protective ceiling is in place when the building is under construction or demolition.
