sounds like the kind of job from years ago..when the BC would continue to call for extra engines and extra trucks rather than give a 2nd or 3rd alarms. the last thing the BCs wanted was a DC taking over his fire.

Can't imagine what it's like to be working in a FH and it gets shut down. You put everything you have into a place, hard work, pride, learning the area and it's residents, then getting kicked in the teeth. Growth is one thing, combining single units into one station etc...201/114, 63/39, 15/18. Can't imagine the gut punch!😤
