The best thing to do as a fire dept. aerial or a Tower Ladder driver is to place the rig TURNTABLE UNDER the obstruction you are trying to avoid and work from that location. FDNY Ladder 108 is and has always been a great ladder company. Captain Bob Rainey FDNY Engine 26 retired
