Second E-Bike operation for Bn 40 this night tour. With all this E Bike madness maybe the FDNY should start training Ladder Companies on handling small Lithium Batteries incidents with Cell BlockX and leave larger operations to Haz Mat Companies.
This operation with 50+ batteries notwithstanding but single battery operations could be handled safely by trained personnel.
Of course extra pay would be a factor. 🤔
