Which is crazy… can easily take 20+ mins to get from one side of the island to the other
I was surprised to see a SI chief relocate to Brooklyn as well. Obviously it was needed at the time due to activity, but leaving a large chunk of the borough without a chief if the remaining 2 on the island were both busy.

Ok so if people generally don't think BNs should relocate off SI, a position that I can understand, the question becomes: what do you think should have happened instead?

Downtown Brooklyn was decimated for BC coverage: BN31 and 57 at BK Box 0522, then as a result of the multiples, the BN32 relocated to the 49, BN48 relocated to the 37, leaving only the 40, the 48, and the 35 covering a huge area. Additionally, BN1 was acting 18, and BN4 was acting 50, so both Manhattan BNs proximate to downtown Brooklyn were also unavailable. So I think there is clearly a hole whereby the 32 or the 31 should have a relocation. Who should go instead of the 21? The best candidate I could think of would be maybe another BN further north in Manhattan, maybe the 11th. What do people think?

(Not questioning the decisions of the dispatchers, who are the best in the world, simply interested in discussing the logic of relocations)
