You were "The friendly man who sells Good Humor, the ice cream kids all favor." Remember that jingle?
Yes I do - they had that going when I was a kid! The cost of selling from the ice cream truck became too expensive and the gas crisis in the early 70’s and increased gas cost put an end to it for Good Humor - even in the 60’s they were transitioning to supermarket sales - they had good ice cream back in the day - do you remember the Good Humor napkin with the popsicle hole in the middle of the napkin?

I do remember the napkin with the hole in it....also the 4 "sicles" .....Popsicle....Creamsicle....Fudgesicle ....& Twinsicle......the unique thing about the Twinsicle was that it had 2 sticks & a depression down the middle allowing you to break it in half lengthwise & share it with your Third Grade heart throb...... (slight variations on the names thru the years but a good photo of the Twinsicle").

Most days I did - Good Humor stopped giving them out in 1965 - I had my route in 1968 so I would buy large packages of napkins in Bohack but some days I would run out which led to an eventful day when I met my future wife by my stop at Queens College - gave me an awful time about not having Good Humor napkins which no longer existed - met her again months later at College party and voila!

Thanks for breaking my chops bro!
