Chrome bumper another sign, l say it's old 38, but someone with knowledge of the #s ( SL 01005 ) can confirm, if l had my books with me l could but l don't.

If it has three holes in the front corner under the chauffer windshield then maybe because that's where the bell was mounted

According to Chief Calderone's book on Seagrave Rearmounts SL 01005 was assigned to L 38

Makes me more sure of it... just need to confirm the registration.
The gold FD and NY are a clue, the tape covering a scratched off 38 under the grill and the registration confirms it. Good to see a lot of their custom features still on the rig while it finishes off its days in the spare fleet.

It’s pa300 and airhorn are still going strong! The lights... not so much.
