BC 21 uses Fr Capodanno Blvd - straight run - much less traffic than Hylan Blvd.

Midland Beach is another part of SI that is not close to FDNY firehouses. Traffic used to be big factor for arrivals at box. E 165 and E 159 used to get in to Midland Beach boxes same time. Companies used to look for each other at Midland Avenue. Back in the day.

Unfortunately it's a different society today. FD, PD & EMS used to be respected, now it seems that they are just an inconvenience unless needed by the selfish, "all about me" generation. You can't "fly" any longer unless you wish to be in lawsuits.
