Very rare to get work in this area . Some beautiful multi million dollar brownstones
Yes. Steps from the Brooklyn promenade overlooking downtown Manhattan. Celebrities in the area. Brooklyn heights…around the corner from 224. Majority of work for 205/118 come from the other end of their district near Farragut Houses. Occasional work toward this end.

Pretty much always a good neighborhood. Lived there from 1967 to 1973. Amazing that E 224 and E 205 were not relocated somewhere as it seems they are frequently on the move to another house.

was a cop there in the 84pct 1974-75
upscale neighborhood much like greenwich village in manhattan
very liberal residents...enjoyed the security we provided to them
yet..would not hesitate to register a civilian complaint against a cop (direct line to the commanding officer of the 84pct)

Very true. I worked North Brooklyn for 25 years and the Heights was part of my turf. My job required me going into the premise so I saw MANY of the interiors and some were really impressive. You did have to watch yourself because as you said they wouldn't hesitate to call with customer complaints. It could be they just don't like the way you talked to them. And if you damaged anything in the house they'd sue the company in a second.

I'm sure it hasn't changed. The "my nose in the air" crowd.
