Hello, wondering if someone knew the answer to this. Both the 800mhz DOiTT system and the 400mhz system have FDNY Talkgroups labeled 6a,6b,6c,6d etc. for admin, ops, comma are the linked to one another or completly different. Also what is the general rule for hearing the fireground rebroadcasts on Patch 5 and 6, when is the audio rebroadcast and whose responsible ?

6A-6D along with OEM Exec and OEM Alert are constantly patched from 800 to UHF. Listening to either 800 or UHF, you will hear all traffic passed.
The fireground rebroadcast, if I remember right, occurs when either the division or battalion arrive and FDOC activates the rebroadcast.

I don't think the patches are 100% of the time.
For example. If all users are on 800mhz 6B talking and no 400mhz radio has affiliated to the system. Then with a scanner you might not hear anything on 400mhz.
So for scanner users I would program both 800mhz and 400mhz.
