This is probably a dumb question . . . but is this the first time the "new" foam tankers have been put into use (even though they aren't really that new anymore)?
 
Wonder if 152 went through NJ or all 5 boroughs.

I would say they went through NYC. They’re right next to Verrazzano bridge and traffic might have been lighter (doubt it) earlier in the day. I’m not sure, but I don’t think any company would go through NJ to get up there even though for some it might be faster. Are there technical rules for this known by anyone OTJ?
 
When B-18 was inquiring the location of E-247 & E-152, they were both together on the BQE at Queens Blvd.

E-247 might be a little closer in millage, E-152 has the advantage of being closer to the highway.
