Signal....been out a long time but I'll guess that if 133 was riding short they'd be minus their OVM. First floor fire in a PD would send the forcible entry team to the fire....roofman to the front porch to go above and the OV to the rear with a 24 footer. Chauffeur would get into the attic if possible. 126 is very close to that location...their OV would go to the rear and the roofmen would meet on the second floor. Didn't take me long to realize that it's a sprint out there. Excellent companies that are in position very quickly. As they say on Merrick Blvd..."now you see it, now you don't".

Exception- this location appears to be a flatroof. Don's assignments are for peaked roof dwellings. A flat roof mandates that the roofmen go to the roof for vertical ventilation. Generally the OVs will get to the rear, the LCCs will cover the front.

I appreciate both responses fellas...You'd think buffing for years and having friends OTJ in truck companies I would of known the answer lol

Seeing those pics reminded me…had a job in a similar building except this was in Bricktown with 127 second due. Early in 133’s existence so a few growing pains with the neighboring trucks. Put the roofman on the roof then dropped the aerial down to punch out windows and enter second floor. Was just ascending aerial when 127’s roofman came running down the block screaming he needed the stick. Their rig had gotten blocked out. Yelled back he’s welcome to my 35 footer. Continued my climb as I chuckled. Not sure he appreciated the humor..lol.
