5/2/23 Brooklyn 4th Alarm Box 3891

It's very possible they were replaced as a fast truck, and was missed. I've heard it several times where the ic calls for a new truck to replace the fast truck because there a platform and to make the new fast truck a stick. Ive also seen/ heard several calls where 1 truck was called and told to operate a different unit on scene because of how the scene unfolded and how difficult it would be
Yes thank you Skyler a world of information on FDNY much obliged.
114 was the only fast truck. Unit remained intact while one ff was venting sealed window from bucket. Rest were by rig & ready if needed as fast.

Den, I remember an incident when a member from another company moved 114’s bucket and the Chauffeur took exception to it. Amazing when a calm Irishman can’t have a discussion with a equally calm Italian over an issue!😵‍💫

“Two-sided” approach often requires proactive actions - like creating an access/egress point in this situation.

FAST truck can absolutely be in position while simultaneously addressing potential rescue routes. 114 knows what they’re doing as always.

She would use the same excuse she used several times, she wasn’t feeling well. So she couldn’t go. The real reason is she didn’t want to get booed or get an improper hand signal. Can you imagine if the news media asked her about fire operations at the scene, she would refer it to Senior Staff She is a classless person.
Go Chiefs and win the law suit.
Plus that lady has never ran a strech of hose in her life.
