Marlboro’s “open air” hallways are a HUGE ASSET to fire operations. Two floors of fire in a high rise in the middle of the night in a regular project - things would have been a little different perhaps.

Probably will hold in 20 minutes. Quick 3 length stretches and clear hallways.

L-153 Roof found fire in 9F, 245 and 161 shot right up there, joined him, and took care of business. 253 and 153 had 8F, where fire was blowtorching out the windows upon arrival.

TL-153, TL-161, and L-166 all had their apparatus in the courtyard and laddered both the 8th and 9th floors.

Pics from citizen:

Marlboro Houses see a wide variety of responses depending where in the complex you are. One block over, L161 and L166 would be 1st and 2nd due.

In the 3rd video on citizen, I have never seen the ladder from the truck shake so violently while putting the stick up. Looks like the firefighter lowered it back down right after it did that.

Is this normal? What would cause that?

DIV8 reported (2) 10-45 from the fire apt.

DIV8 also requested mixer off message. 10-41 code 1 given…looked like it was a large amount of fire upon arrival at 2AM.

My guess is maybe because the rig was partially on grass and because they had to maneuver under/around the tree branches. Looks like chauffeur lowered it and repositioned rig and tried again at better angle.
