Did they end up stretching off of 67? Looks like 84 had a good hydrant in middle of the block

It looks like there was room to hook up alongside the car rather than through the windows.
It may have been done later, but I didn't notice any summons issued.

why would the city be liable? car is illegally parked on a fire hydrant during an active fire? tickets are written and dbags insurance prob wont cover it either. Do you like the broken window move or not?
I work EMS, from what I have heard if a vehicle is blocking a hydrant and a fire apparatus pushes the vehicle with the truck out of the way with their apparatus or breaks windows at a fire the city is held liable.

If they have insurance, it will pay for the windows. There is no exclusion to coverage because they were parked illegally but only if they were in the commission of the intentional act. In my opinion, you take your lumps and move on. It is the stupid tax one must pay!
