Depends on the city. In my area Scranton uses the heavy as primary search company whereas Wilkes-Barre and surrounding companies use the heavy as RIT.

I thought they go on about 1/3 of the city

Were I am in Syracuse the Rescue Company goes on all 99's which is like a 10-75 for FDNY
