A 21 story Hike to the Roof. God bless those Guys and Gals.
I was thinking about the climb as well. Manhattan announced the alarm at 19:58. B8 transmitted the 10-77 right when arriving or very shortly thereafter at 20:01. B8 reported the elevators were inoperable at 20:03. They had a line stretched on the roof at 20:09!!! Even if the first unit arrived at 19:58 while the alarm was being broadcast on the radio, they got up there in 11 minutes!!! That’s TWO floors per minute while geared up and carrying tools, hose, etc. REMARKABLE!!!
