Always had a lot of respect for 165...excellent truck company. Terrific chauffeurs. Never quite got the rationale for laying the aerial on the front porch. They did it a lot back then as well. Felt it would tie me up too long. 133 preferred a couple of small portables to the porch, and if you couldn't get the stick to that small attic window, I'd try to get in first floor rear or side. Remember one freezing cold night....we were first in, 165 second. We're taking up and 165 couldn't lift their stick off the porch roof. Fully extended and tongue pressure too much at the tip. Wouldn't budge. Maneuvered our stick under their bottom beams and lifted it up....just enough for them to retract it, then raise it and bed it. Actually got a high five from Sal the mechanic back in quarters...said we saved him a trip to the job....lol. Great memories. Stay safe.
