Yeah I heard the transmission, I just couldn't make out who it was. Thanks G-man.

Just wondering for general purposes, when was the last time the Bronx or Staten Island had to operate on the Citywide frequency? I would surmise it had to be during another large brush fire like this, or a Bronx 4th of July. Anyone got that kinda information?

How shallow is the water over there in the area of the Richmond County Yacht Club? They couldn't get a marine unit in there close enough could they? That's where it looks like it's burning the most?

"Bigandy" you're right. I remember Staten Island operating on Citywide frequency on a 4th of July to free up radio traffic on the Bronx Frequency. But that would go back quite a few years ago.

I think the brush fire season doesn't offically start until mid October, and goes until the end of November. During that time, I believe all or some of the BFUs are manned by an officer and two FFs.

I think I remember either the X or Staten Island operating on it during 4th of July 1994, but just wondering if there were any times after that?

Fire is Under Control. Elapsed Time: 7 hours 19 minutes (if my math is correct) Too much static on the stream but I believe they also called for 3 engines to assist with Satellite hose.
Eng 276 acting 162 and couldn't get the other two.

This was a crazy day for Staten Island. 11 alarms of Brush, the all hands box, and the FDNY handled it beautifully.

G-Man is the staging still active? Did you get any pictures of what it looked like?
