I'm missing 1 engine on the 2nd Alarm, most likely a relocator (E-21?), all other engines in the area were on other runs (lots of 10-33's), E-4 & 10 were told to remain in service as E-5 & 7 became avail.

Box 415 was one of the most active ERS no contact boxes back in the day. I can still hear the bells....5-415-28. Later on it was "Manhattan to Engine 28...415 is in....check it out". Happened so often we actually had tee shirts made...."Box 415 Check it out". Then after years and years of vacants our tee shirts read "Lower East Side brick farm". Now it must be "Buddy can you spare $2 million for a studio apartment?" Times have changed. Stay safe.
