E 206 should go before E 237 & 271.
They are 1st due at some boxes on Grand Ave in lower Maspeth around Maspeth Ave. I would think 206 would be on the 2nd..

In the first photo by "First On Scene" in reply # 7 above notice the well known classic hump of a Wooden Heavy Timber Bow String Truss Roof (well known by responding Units) which was part of a section of the old Maspeth Movie Theater closed in 1965....that area of the old theaters auditorium is now used as a Bingo Hall .....if a good Fire was in the Bingo Hall this would have been a totally different strategy as a Fire involving a Wooden Heavy Timber Bow String Truss Roof mandates .... NO FFs ON THE ROOF OR IN THE BLDG UNDER IT !

That yellow saw is a Partner saw with different blades, carbide tip for cutting the roof or metal for cutting roll down gates. It's been on trucks for years. The orange one on the ground next to the sidewalk door where the officer is going in is a similar saw different manufacturer

. The yellow saw that the member is carrying is probably a DeWalt 60 volt 9” battery operated saw. Much lighter and smaller than traditional K-12. Good for hockey puck locks, hasps, lock shackles, some door hinges , window bar bolts and attachments etc. It is not big enough or powerful enough for roof work or roll up doors

Thanks brother. Yes you can clearly see in Tommy Felipe’s video that some are using the DeWalt battery operated saw. Another one was sighted at the fifth alarm in the Bronx Monday. So it appears they are slowly popping up on the fireground. They have their limitations and in some cases are no match for the full size gasoline saw. But for light lock and bolt / hinge cutting it’s very handy. Thanks again stay well
