Ret. BC Harry Coughlin of the 44 Batt. on 1/28/2022. No date for wake or funeral at this time. I remember him also as the Capt. of 277. Always remember his announcement as "you got the 44".

Dixie covered in the truck for a while when we were in between Capts.. When I was a FM I went to interview him at qtrs. and I said Hi Chief and he said don't call me Chief call me Dixie. A true Fireman's Fireman. RIP Dixie and condolences to the Family.
 
B.C. Harry Coughlin was acting B.C. many times while Captain of Engine 277. He was known as 2 and 2 Harry
because he didn't want a Deputy Chief on the scene. One, two, or three floors of fire were all treated the same,
2 Engines and 2 Trucks at work. Excellent boss to work for.
