Regarding Retired Lieutenant Louis Minchelli. Lou was a Firefighter in Engine 48 and Engine 50. A Lieutenant in Engine 69 and Engine 63. There was a 69 on his uniform hat badge. Is that his badge number or for his company.?

I remember Lt Bill Duffy when he was a Lt at Ladder 40.
Lt Duffy, also the late Firefighter Charlie Summerland Lad 40, and the other members of Engine 37/Ladder 40 invited myself and a couple of my Brother Firefighters from Ct to march in the St Patricks Day Parade with them in 1978.

Lt Duffy, I will never forget you.

My condolences to Lt Duffy's family, as well as Brother and Sister Firefighters of the FDNY.

Charlie Summerland or Charlie Summerlad? I went to school with a Charlie Summerlad and believe he went on the FDNY.

Chief Paul H. Jetter, Sr. on May 5th, 2023
Funeral Mass this Thursday May18th, 2023 at 1000hrs at Sacred Heart Church, 51 Mohican St. Lake George, NY.

Chief Jetter was The Captain of Ladder Company 120 from 1977 - 1984.
Was the Commander during a time when the work was still very heavy and the "War Years" members of the 1960's and early 1970's were starting to get promoted or retiring. He had a lot of Huge Boots to fill to say the least. Most of the men he brought into 120, worked in the company thru the 1980's and 1990's and went on to higher ranks. Lead by example and was a Great Captain and Nice Man.
Rest in Peace, Cap.
