I remember Richie as a probie at E 248 back in 1963. His brother and son were both on the job. Great guy. I forget where he was a LT but he spent several years at E 248. I rode there as an Auxiliary from 1964 to 1973 and he was there most, if not all, that time.

FF George S. Cunningham was appointed on 10/6/62. He was assigned to Engine 26. At some point he apparently moved to Engine 252 and from there became a charter member of Engine 332.
Some time after that he transferred to Engine 319 and retired from there on 7/2/91.
He served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.
Rest in peace, Brother.
