Received the following information from Pats son Tom:

Hello Everyone. This is Tom, Pat's son. Sorry for the long text.

This is a tough time for us all and I thank all for what you meant to my dad.

I'm still working on planning, but I have information about Pat's memorial service.

My dad wished to be cremated. This is being handled by Baldwin Brothers.

The memorial service will take place at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, FL on Saturday, April 26th at 10:30am. This was the first available option.

The FDNY retirees have graciously volunteered to do an honor guard.

In lieu of flowers or cards, we are asking people to donate to Tunnel to Towers, t2t.org/, in my father's name, Pasquale Marcello.

While not necessary, if they would like to notify me of the donation, there is a place on the donation form to add my email, tom@themarcellos.com.

Pasquale “Pat” Marcello, 83, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 in Venice, Florida. Pat is survived by his girlfriend, Dee, children; Tom and wife Angie, Patty and husband Terry, Denise and husband Chris, Nancy and husband Keith, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, niece and nephews, cousins, friends, close neighbors, and his fire department brothers.
Born in New York City, Pat was a rambunctious youth, who enjoyed getting into “mischief” with his friends, many of whom were still close friends at the time of his passing. He was a star lacrosse player during his high school years, retaining a love for the sport throughout his life. Pat faithfully served his country in the army and in the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), retiring as a Lieutenant. He was also a successful small business owner after his career as a public servant.
Even after his retirement from the FDNY, Pat maintained his close connection to the fire department, staying active in the fire community. Upon moving to Florida, Pat became active with the FDNY Suncoast Florida Retirees and the American Legion.
Pat had a love for life. He loved spending time with friends, boating, golfing, and driving his big trucks, reliving his fire department days. He had a kind soul, who made an impact on everyone he met.
