I don't pay either,,,instead of going through the app try just entering the broadcastify.com on your browser and see if that helps. That's how I access it.

Much better than nothing! The read-out is quite a challenge though!

I just scrolled down o the playlist listing and FDNY came up. I do not pay for anything on the site. Hope all get to enjoy it. By the way both Boston and Chicago have printout of the transmissions as well.
