The info regarding FAST Co is located on this site under "Photography", "Ladder 62". see page 2, 5th post down for a small explanation of "FAT Engines", and "FAST Truck". Just a quick story on the beginning's of FDNYs FAST Co.

Bxboro: we used to utilize numbers for Exposures and switched to letters some time ago. No clue why.

All trucks, rescues, and squads are FAST-trained and carry the equipment for it.  A single FAST truck is assigned on all Incidents of 10-75 or greater, usually the 3rd due truck.  Should another FAST Truck be needed it will usually be special called by the Incident Commander, and is usually the next nearest available truck.  If a FAST Truck is put to work another truck will be designated FAST, either from the already assigned trucks or if needed a special call.
