Back before the House centennial we found all the books from the house in an attic over the office. Included was the opening day book which we put in a case on display on the Apparatus floor. Interesting reading includes the name of the original Horses as well as personnel.
This 1919 book is for sale for $1000 in Virginia wonder how it got there and how much our original book is worth.

4 GALLON STIRRUP PUMP......On hand for Incendiary Fires (if bombings had occurred ) in NY during WW2.....after the War people started to discard these...great for us kids to play with back then.....in 206s old FH there was a whole floor full of these on the unused Truck side ......
