Ending scenes of E288 following the camera car alone, looks like it may be Eliot Ave in the 70 - numbered streets

Looks like a 1954 Ford chief's rig and a 1954 Mack 1000gpm pumper in front of it. My eyes aren't as good as they once were but I think the firefighters carrying the roll-ups have 65 on the helmets.

Memory, I agree with you about the Chief's car in the background (with the door open) . . . it's a 52-54 Ford, but the one in the foreground is either a '55 or a '56 . . . '55, I think.  And what about the '57 Plymouth in the distant background?

Memory:  Ford liked to get mileage out of their body styles.  The '49, '50 and '51 all had the same body, as did the '52, '53 and '54,  and the '55 and '56.  Biggest changes were in the front grilles and tail lights.  Also side moldings were different on the '55 and '56.

The location appears to be West 35th looking west towards Broadway & Ave. of the Americas and yes, the men carrying roll-ups look like E65 that would've been 3rd due on box 723 @Broadway & W. 35th St. E26, E1, E65, L24, L21, Bn7. The 1954 Mack was either E26 (#1109) or E1 (#1089). E65 didn't get their 1954 Mack (#1099) until the end of 1966 when their 1965 Mack C was reassigned to the newly organized E232.

It's West 36 Street.
The cars parked at the curb are facing east, so it must be an even-numbered street.

The battalion wagon looks to be a '61 Dodge, but the 14th Division is definitely a '65 Ford Custom.

  Yes, so the box is 732 @6th Ave. & 36th St. with the same response of E26, E1, E65, L24, L21 & Bn 7. Thanks. ;)
