Yes, Darrell, E66 was a Marine Unit prior to the boats getting single unit numbers and not being ttitled Engine Companies.

As a New Lieutenant I did a tour at E 202 and on BI we inspected the renovation going on @ E 203 old Quarters. In the new entrance to the apartments was a glass enclosed case with the history of the building an a really old Fire helmet from 203. They said they found it behind the ancient furnace in the basement. A piece of history preserved for all those who now live there.
ps. I was in L131 and remember working there many times.
