The Hawthorne Brush Fire in Berlin, Ct has now been burning for over one week.
This was the scene of Wethersfield Volunteer Firefighter/Retired Hartford Firefighter Steven Sharkevich's Line of Duty Death.

It has now been reported that the FDNY has sent 50 firefighters to help with this massive brush fire.

In addition, there are members of the National Guard, Numerous Area Mutual Aid Companies, and Helicopters with Water Drops being used to fight this fire.

I find that hard to believe. So many other interstate wildland firefighting resources available.

Sounds like 15 members of the IMT.
