Pierce 1500 GPM pump, 1000 gallon booster tank and 30 gallon foam tank.

I am noticing a growing trend among departments that utilize a motorized ladder rack - to put them on the drivers side. Reduces striking tree limbs which often arc up and out over roadway and it places the ladder within the drivers pump panel proximity so the driver can lower the rack for faster deployment by the crew.

Also, I really like the retro red interior metal and dash setup. Reminds me of the rigs of the 70’s and 80’s . Additionally, the red seems to brighten the cab up a bit more than the gray and especially black interiors typically found in contemporary fire apparatus cabs.

I certainly agree about the red interior, it certainly makes it look brighter inside. This truck and one that was posted the other day just don't look like they have enough space for a thousand gallon tank. I'm sure they do put they certainly don't look it.

Between increasing the wheelbase and creative tank shapes the industry has gotten really good at making low hose beds with large tanks.
