Hartford, Ct had a working fire in a 21 bay garage to the rear of 255 Sisson Ave on 10/19/25 at 07:42. Access was severely limited with companies cutting through a fence to get lines in place.

Hartford is around 130k population with high levels of poverty and a large amount of what I'd call "borderline" old housing stock. Unfortunately there seems to be a resultant high level of activity for HFD. There is a fair amount of mutual aid that happens around here: I live in West Hartford which is a separate municipality (though I'm always a New Yorker at heart). There is back and forth over the City line both ways between HFD and our own full-time professional FD.
