I do remember back in '68 (as opposed to the FDNY) the Fire Patrol did leave the HW back in the FH.....one of the HW duties was monitoring the FDNY radio & logging addresses of all activity which daily would be delivered to John St the FPNY Hq......I think it was a double check if a claim was made for a Fire loss there was a record that FDNY did in fact respond to it.

Lookin’ at the numbers on the chalk board (Es 5- xxxx-268, 304, 294), that would be a Queens circuit? I ain’t so good on those triple digit companies.

Good guess Mack. Looks like the old Bronx Box numbers before the 1920 revamp of them, and some streets in their response area (Webster, Valentine Aves).
