I use Historic Aerials for a lot of historical research since it has old aerial images and topographical maps, but this collection is great for helping to add some depth.
Love the pic of ladder 3..just the top fly showing. I remember 39 trucks top fly sticking out the back window of the bay on E.233 st. Parked in the other bay was the Miners and sappers yellow Chevy or International rig. TNT was stored in Woodlawn. This in the 40's and early 50''s.
