I know this is a sore subject but will Ladder 135 apparatus be taken out of service for testing?

I'd imagine that NFPA, OSHA, NIST and others will also want to look at it from their own perspectives. My guess is that it won't be back out on the streets for a while.
Does anyone know if any new Department Orders have gone out concerning use of the bucket?
That's already the SOP in many departments, I'm sort of surprised it isn't in FDNY.columbusfire said:Maybe changing SOP's and requiring a tether at all times while in the bucket, and unclipping when you are on the roof?
