Marine 6's New Boat

Anyone have any info on how the new boat will be staffed ? Is this a replacement for the bravest? Alpha unit etc ?
Considering the boat is almost identical to the Bravest as far as capabilities go I would be quite confident that it is going to be a replacement of the existing boat.  The weather the existing boat is going to become a different unit or a spare is certainly an open question.

the bravest is like 5mins old. I still don't get why its being replaced. Was it that bad of a build?

?  I believe the Bravest is around 5 years old which obviously isn't old but certainly old enough to be having some issues.  It also runs a lot more than any of the other boats do.  While it's still in good shape I believe that FDNY is going to use it for the frontline spare, something there presently lacking in the Marine division.  My guess would be that it also will be manned at the 4th large mode during major events such as Fleet Week, Fourth of July etc. much like Rescue 6.

With the Feehan being christened today, has anyone determined what the plan for Marine 6's current vessel (The Bravest) is?

A minor correction - The Bravest was commissioned May 26, 2011, but didn't go in service as Marine 6 until July 1.
Similarly, the William M. Feehan was dedicated today, but an in-service date has not yet been established.
