Does this put an E-One aerial in every Boston ladder company (except for TL-3 and TL-10)? Also, are all of the Boston engine companies E-One as well?

Yes, all 33 engines are E-Ones, with 6 more of that spec coming soon all will almost identical. With ladder 16’s above E-One entering service all 20 aerials will be the exact same, with 2 twin E-One Towers. Twin E-One Rescues as well.

Wasn't there a time when every engine company in FDNY was a Mack? At least until the 1980 deliveries of the ALF's.

There was a time when all FDNY engines and tower ladders were Mack CF's. There was also a time when all FDNY Engines, Rearmounts and Towers were Seagraves

It looks like they are going to be all Seagraves again in the not too far distant future based on the recent purchases.
