Over the course of the last three years the department has increased the number of Divisions to decrease and equalize the span of control over the stations. Essentially making them all the same size. In 2018 there was only five Divisions:

Division 1: Manhattan (Stations 4, 7, 8, 10, 13, 16)
Division 2: Bronx (Stations 3, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 26, 27, 55, BTRG)
Division 3: Brooklyn (Stations 31, 32, 35, 38, 39, 44, 57, 58, 59)
Division 4: Queens (Station 45, 46, 47, 49, 50, 52, 53, 54, QTRG, Rikers Island Outpost)
Division 5: Staten Island & Brooklyn South (Station 22, 23, 40, 43)

In the next week or so, Division 6 will be created becoming the ninth Division (Interestingly they will be reopening a fire house to use as the new Division HQ, although I'm not sure which one):

Division 1: Manhattan South (Stations 4, 7, 8)
Division 2: Bronx South (Stations 14, 17, 18, 26, 55, BTRG)
Division 3: Brooklyn East (Stations 38, 39, 44, 58, 59)
Division 4: Queens South (Station 47, 50, 53, 54, QTRG)
Division 5: Staten Island & Brooklyn South (Stations 22, 23, 40, 43)
Division 6: Manhattan North (Stations 10, 13, 16)
Division 7: Bronx North (Stations 3, 15, 19, 20, 27)
Division 8: Brooklyn West (Stations 31, 32, 35, 57)
Division 9: Queens North (Station 45, 46, 49, 52, Rikers Island Outpost)

* Manhattan is also rumored to be getting two new Stations in the future hence why their Divisions are smaller.

So the firehouse has to be somewhere in Battalion 10, 13 and 16?

Was thinking same thing.... like to know what firehouse there're gng to open become new Div 6 for EMS
I heard an old single engine, which if true limits the potential sites down to like three. But, it's going to take awhile Division 6 while be stood up at Station 4 while their new HQ is being renovated.

Condition Cars usually correspond with the Station they are assigned to. Exceptions would be such as Station 10 which has Condition 10 and Condition 11.
