As per the shops they are installing the wiring setup on all of the Ladders coming in so companies don’t try to do it themself.

Many years ago when FDNY had what was called a combination company, days of the horses, & also early motorized, some of the engine companies had three rigs - Steamer (pumper), Hose wagon, & a ladder. All were part of Engine 62. Ladder 32 at one time shared qtrs with Eng 97.
