New Seagrave Squad Rescue Pumpers

Just out of curiosity, the Ferrara rear mount cabs were a new design and the crew area was made slightly longer, long enough to put a window next to the door on the body side. Is there a reason fdny didn't use the same cab specs for the new tower ladders, squads and high pressure pumpers ?? Or are they the same specs and Ferrara just ads a window ??

Pretty sure they not the same spec.

On the rear mount you have the radio compartment under that small window on the officer side.
I think the small compartment on the LCC side is for a SCBA.

Hello Everyone, Im New To This Website, Please Call Me Luna Im A Young Buff That Just Wants To Learn More About The Department

As per Sept-Oct. Issue of FAJ, the add-on order for eight regular 2000gpm pumpers to Seagrave has been changed to seven regular 2000gpm pumpers, and 1000gpm rescue pumper. Possibly another Squad coming online? S.I.? Any scuttlebut?

I have a question? For Squad 61 are they gonna put a Mural on it like the Current one has or are they gonna leave it Blank like it was Pre-2003

Are the new squads up and running yet ?? Anyone have anymore on why the high pressure contracts add on order had one of the normal engines that are to replace flood damaged rigs changed to a squad ?
